The German biathletes have already achieved more than one brilliant victory at the "home World Cup" in Oberhof. Local hero Andrea Henkel made it onto the podium twice in the winter sports centre. The whole town was upside down, the atmosphere in the world-famous witches' cauldron could not have been better. Thousands of spectators are there every year and cheer on the German team with gigantic enthusiasm.
Guests Biathlon in Oberhof
Try it out for yourself. How does it feel when you aim at the small target at a distance of 50 metres with your rifle at the ready? In Oberhof you regularly have the opportunity to try biathlon shooting for everyone. You will gain an insight into the sport of biathlon, including one or two anecdotes from the World Cup circus. An experienced shooting instructor will introduce you to the use of the biathlon rifle and you will test your skills in a small competition. At the end, the shooting king will be crowned.

Guests Biathlon for groups
We offer individual biathlon packages for groups of 10 or more. You can choose between biathlon for everyone with shooting at the famous targets and the complete package. Your group does biathlon with skiing like the original or alternatively with mountain biking, on ski rollers or skikes. Choose between one of these following packages or let us make you an individual offer:
Biathlon for beginners (2 hours) in visitor time at the LOTTO Thüringen Skisport-HALLE Oberhof.
The beginners' package is the introductory lesson to the sport of biathlon. You will learn all the important basics on cross-country skis and on the original biathlon rifle.

You are an experienced skier and want to experience the biathlon feeling in competition? Then the advanced biathlon is just the thing for you.

VIP biathlon (3 hours) in the LOTTO Thüringen Skisport-HALLE Oberhof
As an experienced cross-country skier, we offer you the opportunity to experience the competition together with a prominent biathlon athlete. Tips and tricks on cross-country skiing style and shooting included.

Important note: For the above-mentioned packages (shooting with small-bore rifle), participants aged 18 and over are permitted (aged 16 and over accompanied by a parent or guardian). In addition, no alcohol is permitted before or during the events.
Biathlon for school classes, children's and youth groups at the LOTTO Thüringen Skisport-HALLE Oberhof
Of course, our biathlon packages are also available for children and young people under the age of 18. In this case, the shooting is done with laser rifles. We will be happy to put together an individual package for you.
WSV-Oberhof biathlon area at the Grenzadler.
Crown the shooting king in the biathlon for individuals and groups. The biathlon specialists of the WSV-Oberof offer guest competitions in the biathlon area of the WSV-Oberhof at the Grenazdler. The course lengths are adapted to the "performance level" of the participants. Biahtlon is possible not only on skis, but also on scooters, Segways or mountain bikes. Relay teams can be made up of up to 10 people per relay team.
