Beschreibung
In Oberhof you start your circular walk in the center, at the Haus des Gastes. Your way leads you first to the north, shortly behind the AHON Panorama Hotel you turn off in the direction of "Schlossbergkanzel, Lütschetalsperre". Follow the trail markings with the green bar. Shortly you will reach an idyllic mountain meadow, with a small stream. At the "Breitenbornsteich" it is already worth a first little stop. The forest bath is lovingly run by an association. Further on, your hike leads you comfortably downhill towards the Lütschetalsperre.
Arrived at the dam, a bathing stop offers itself in the summer. The Lütschetalsperre will surprise you with a welcome cooling. Maybe you also feel like a round of "StandUp Paddling"? This and much more is possible here.
Afterwards you start back towards Oberhof near the quarry. Your path now leads you steadily uphill. From here on, the yellow cross will lead you up the mountain again. Enjoy the forest, with its fir scent and lovely sounds. The path is always well paved. Once you have reached the top of the mountain, you deserve a break. Perhaps you will taste the famous Thuringian bratwurst.
After your refreshment, you now follow the Herrenweg back to Oberhof to the end. Finally, you can take the shortcut through the Oberen Hof and reward yourself with an ice cream.
