LOTTO Thüringen BIKEPARK Oberhof
Beschreibung
From May to October, mountain bikers take over the terrain around the Fallbach slope.
In summer 2020, new projects were implemented in the bike park. After more than 4 months of construction, there are now some new trails, a landing bag and a pump track next to the lift station.
The Bikepark Oberhof was designed together with downhill lovers from Thuringia and laid out with great attention to detail. On the grounds of Oberhof's Fallbach slope, lots of riders, tables and doubles for downhill fun await bike lovers during the summer season. The lift transports bikers and bikes comfortably to the mountain station. The different trails are suitable for beginners as well as for advanced bikers. A total of 11 trails are newly prepared every year.
The Jumpline
On the new jumpline with a total of 10 hits with different jumps! The special feature: The jumpline not only consists of tables, but also winds its way through the terrain with lots of hips, bends and sharkfins for a total of 500m!
The Family Flow Trail
The flowing trail winds its way through the forest for over 2 km. There are curves, doubles, sharkfins and tables. The trail is divided into a blue, easier section and a red, slightly more difficult section. The trail is ideal for beginners but also for advanced riders.
The Enduro Trails
For all lovers of natural trails, there is now also a 2.6 km long network of Enduro Trails. It goes over hill and dale, over roots and drops as well as sharp curves and wild jumps. There are blue easy trails, red medium-difficulty trails as well as a black line for the experts among the bikers.
The Fallbach Trail
Together with the guys around Gregor Siegmund and Fahrrad Eberhardt/Gotha, we tinkered with the various stunts of the trail. You can expect a lot of action: many jumps, technical passages, natural terrain and root fields over a length of approx. 900 metres. The Fallbachtrail is therefore just the right thing for downhillers who are looking for crunchy trails.
The Wies'n Trail
Where otherwise skiers and snowboarders make the piste unsafe, you have the opportunity to hone your riding technique or to give full throttle in varied curve passages. Over a length of about 800 metres, you can get down to business on both natural and prepared terrain. There are jumps, wooden elements and drops that demand a lot from you.
The T-Wood Trail
On a total of 950 m, you can expect lots of berms, tables, waves, doubles and the like. The flowing trail used to be the heart of the bike park and is ideal for beginners as well as advanced riders. After the trail was well received last season, we will continue to expand the trail and make it even smoother in preparation for the coming season.
The Landingbag
A large air cushion awaits you near the valley station with 3 jumps and 2 large approach ramps. Here you can try out what you have always wanted to do. Please pay attention to the information and warning signs.
The Pumptrack
In the newly built pump track you can start your day and get familiar with the track. You can work on your riding technique and then put it into practice on the trails. An ideal place to get children used to biking off-road.
