Rennsteighaus at the Grenzadler

The Rennsteighaus at the Grenzadler has been available for guests and athletes all year round since 2014. There you will not only find a place to rest, but also sanitary facilities such as toilets and showers as well as lockers.

The multifunctional building at the Grenzadler is one of six so-called Rennsteighäuser. These were built in the style of trail houses along Germany's oldest long-distance hiking trail to increase the attractiveness of the Rennsteig. You will find more Rennsteig houses in Tambach-Dietharz/Neue Ausspanne, Schmiedefeld am Rennsteig, Masserberg, Neuhaus am Rennweg and Lehesten/Brennersgrün.
