The landmark of Steinbach-Hallenberg!
Built around 1212 by the Lords of Hallenberg, the ruins of Hallenburg Castle, which adorn the town's coat of arms as the landmark of Steinbach-Hallenberg, sit enthroned on an 80m-high porphyry rock above the half-timbered town. Due to the restoration of the keep's trumspitze according to historical models, the tower can be visited.
