Beschreibung
You can expect a leisurely hike with easy walking paths. In between always small idyllic paths. Wonderful views over the Thuringian Forest. The "Ausgebrannte Stein" was built around 1700. Laborious work of miners a passage through the rock was burned and cut to clear the way for rafting. A must is a rest at the lookout point "Hoher Stein". From here you have with good visibility an unbelievably wide view over the Thuringian Forest. At some places you get a view of the Thuringian Forest highway A71. An exciting bird's eye view. Lovely, idyllic awaits the hiker the Sieglitzteich. A romantic insider tip along the way. The hike is easy to walk, far away from the hustle and bustle of the most popular hiking trails around the Rennsteig. Much peace, the smell of the firs and the rustle of the forest reward the hiker.
