City Museum in the Bombardment Facility

For almost 50 years, weapons were tested for durability in the former Ducal Saxon Proof House in Zella-Mehlis. The striking industrial ensemble, built from 1893 onwards, was extensively renovated by 2002 and has since housed the town museum with a focus on the history of the town and technology.
