This hike is one of the most popular hikes of Oberhof's guests. A challenge, but not too much. Good to walk and with regular rest stops.

The Schneekopf is the second highest mountain in Thuringia. It impresses with a magnificent panoramic view over the Thuringian Forest. The sunrises and sunsets are particularly charming. The Schneekopf is part of the summit hiking trail, a challenging hike that connects the seven nine-hundreds on the ridge of the Thuringian Forest.
