You start in the center of town at the Oberhof information desk. Small tip: Go down the stairs into the spa gardens. On its "house wall", lovingly designed display boards bear witness to Oberhof's eventful history. Now follow the opposite staircase back up to the town square and walk across to Zellaer Straße. Pay attention to the signs on the historic houses, such as the pharmacy. You will encounter history and stories everywhere in Oberhof. At the end of the street, turn off in the direction of Rennsteig. Not far away at all, cross the street at the traffic circle over the Rennsteig bridge and on the right hand side you will find the small path to the Rennsteig garden.

From the end of April/beginning of May (depending on the weather) until the end of October each year, the Rennsteig Garden Oberhof awaits you. During a visit to the botanical garden for mountain flora you will be offered about 4,000 different plant species from all over the world.
