What was the most emotional moment of your sporting career?
Winning the 2015 World Championships in Winterberg, when I was able to defend my title in one of the most exciting races on a home track and my current wife was waiting for me right at the finish line and welcomed me.
What was the biggest sporting disappointment for you?
The 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi. Even though a 6th place is good, unfortunately we didn't achieve the medal.
What are your goals for the future?
To stay involved in the sport in whatever way I can. Professionally, I would also like to be involved in sport with the police and take on a position that can push the sports support groups forward again.
